How much is my deposit?
The initial deposit will be the rental fees for both the ceremony site and the ballroom.
What is the payment policy?
50% of the estimated total bill will be due 6 months prior to the event. The final payment and guaranteed guest count is due 14 days prior to the event.
When do we have to finalize our menu?
You do not need to make any decisions regarding menu selections or bar upgrades until 4 to 6 weeks before the event.
Can I bring my own food and beverage?
We cater everything onsite, therefore we do not allow any outside food and beverage. You can bring in your own wedding cake, edible favors, candy buffet.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel your event, any deposits or payments made up to the date of cancellation will not be refunded.
Are there additional charges?
We do have a 20% service charge on food and beverage only and a 6% MD Sales Tax on the total bill.
Is smoking allowed?
We do not allow smoking inside the building or in the hotel rooms. We do offer designated smoking areas outside.
Is parking free?
The Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa provides complimentary valet parking.
Is there a Cake Cutting fee?
No
Do you allow outside vendors?
We do have vendors that we recommend, but feel free to bring in your own vendors.
How early can we start to decorate the facility?
Please consult your bridal consultant for wedding specific times.
Do you have menu tastings?
Yes, we have up to three wedding tastings a year. We invite our brides and grooms to come and sample some of our most popular entrée selections.
Do you have a backup option in case of rain?
Yes, we have two options in case of inclement weather.
What is there for my guests to do?
CBRS is a full-service resort offering various amenities for your guests. Some services include:

Do you block rooms at the resort for weddings?
Yes, we will reserve a block of rooms for your guests the night before and the night of your wedding
Do the bride and groom receive a complimentary room?
Yes! With our wedding packages, the bride and groom receive a complimentary King Water View room with a balcony.
How many ballrooms do you have?
We have two ballrooms. The Bay View Ballroom seats 50-100 guests and the Chesapeake ballroom seats 100-225 guests.
