At Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa, we offer a boater's delight with two Chesapeake Bay Marinas near Washington, DC. Enjoy fishing charters, convenient boat slips and everything you need to enjoy a day on the water while staying with us.

Rod 'N' Reel Dock

A major attraction of the Resort is our Rod 'N' Reel Dock, which includes 120-slips with more than 25 charter boats, two headboats, a Fuel Dock and Tackle Shop.

Every item needed for an exciting day on the Chesapeake Bay is available in our Tackle Shop. Choose from beverages, ice, and bait, to sunglasses and cameras. We specialize in all kinds of fishing excursions for company outings. Our Rod 'N' Reel Dock is also equipped with a fish cleaning table for our special guests.

And remember, when you need either diesel or gas for your boat, just cruise up to our Fuel Dock on Fishing Creek-just minutes off the Chesapeake Bay.

Our Tackle Shop and Fuel Dock are open from 5 am to 8 pm, seven days a week in season.

Annual Chesapeake Bay Boat Slip Rentals

The Rod 'N' Reel Dock has 84 slips to accommodate boats from 20' to 50' for annual rental. Please contact our marina office in the Tackle Shop toll-free at 1-800-233-2080 for rates on annual dockage.

Slips for Transients

Right on the Bay. Easy On. Easy Off.

You are never "up the creek" at the Rod 'N' Reel Dock, at our luxury resort and marina in Chesapeake Beach.

For fishermen or recreational boaters, there are very few marinas on the Bay that are as easily accessible as our Rod 'N' Reel Dock. There are no long winding creeks or rivers to navigate.

Pull up and stay for a while. Our transient slips at the resort include water and electric. Call the Tackle Shop at 1-800-233-2080 to make reservations.

There are great places within walking distance, including the local grocery store, water park, boardwalk to Brownie's Beach, library, bank, post office, pharmacy, and numerous restaurants.

During the season, our fuel dock is open seven days a week, from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call 1-800-233-2080. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

Wake Zone Times

As you throttle down on the Chesapeake Bay at our Flashing Green "1," you'll find that at no wake RPMs you have five to ten minutes of wake zone time before you pull up to our fuel dock on Fishing Creek.

For fishermen or recreational boaters, there are very few fishing marinas on Chesapeake Bay that are as quickly accessible as our Resort Marina. There are no long, winding creeks or rivers to navigate.

Marina West

At Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa

The Rod N Reel Marina West is a Chesapeake Beach landmark. Built in the 1950s by Captain Buddy Kellam, the marina was originally known as Fishing Creek Landings Marina. Everything has been refurbished and you will enjoy completely new bulkheads, landscaping, piers and utilities.
